Pain Frozen Shoulder
Stages
Frozen shoulder is normally broken down into three separate stages.
-The first ‘freezing’ stage. One gradually begins to have pain and restriction of motion in the affected shoulder, which gets worse over time unless appropriate action is taken. The general ‘rule of thumb’ for the length of this stage can be six weeks to nine whole months! However, given the proper shoulder physical therapy, you will not have to suffer anywhere near this long so keep reading and don’t let the pessimists with their unrealistic timeframes get you down! You don’t have to live with painful frozen shoulder!
-The second ‘frozen’ stage’ tends to have an alleviation of the pain thankfully, however, the stiffness stays with you and the range of motion can actually get worse if left unattended. ‘Normal’ timeframes for this stage are four to nine months, but see my thoughts concerning stage one’s timeline,as they apply to all three stages as well.
-The third and final ‘thawing’ stage. This of course is where one’s shoulder starts to regain its previous range of motion as the pain finally, fully melts away.
So there you have it, the three main stages of this condition. Now that you have a general knowledge of what it is and what you can expect from it, you are in a much better position to treat it properly. Remember that knowledge by itself doesn’t do anyone any good. You have to actually go out and apply that knowledge with massive, immediate action in order to reap the benefits. There is plenty of additional general information on this site to help you cure your shoulder pain as well as a top notch full treatment plan created by a highly qualified individual. I hope you will take full advantage of both.
Again,’normal’ timeframes quoted are anywhere from five to twenty-six months, which in my opinion ridiculous and unecessary if your frozen shoulder pain is treated properly.
