This article is going to point out to you the biggest mistakes and pitfalls that alot of people suffer through needlessly when it comes to treating their frozen shoulder.

There is alot of information out there on this condition, much of which is either outdated or downright wrong! It’s easy to become confused and take on the wrong treatment program when your in so much pain. But,if you want to heal as quickly and fully as possible, there are some things to avoid. This list has been compile through many different people’s experiences with frozen shoulder.

Do NOT:

-Simply attempt to wait it out.Your pain will not just magically go away,at least, not without leaving some sort of potentially permanent damage. Its vital to get the proper treatment as soon as possible. This will entail a proper shoulder physical therapy designed by an expert and followed religiously.

-Overly force your range of motion. True, treatments due gravitate around the basic premise of working things loose, however there is such a thing as too much of a good thing! Again, this falls back to finding the proper treatment designed by someone in the know.

-Diagnose yourself. It’s always wise to get a proper diagnosis from a qualified practicioner. After all,if you misdiagnose the issue, your going to be implementing the wrong treatment, which could leave your progress stalled if not reversed. So step one is always proper diagnosis.

-Perhaps the most important of all. Please do NOT try to perform ‘made up on the fly’ exercises to try to heal your frozen shoulder. As mentioned above, things like this could very well make your injuries worse not better. Why try to feel around in the dark for something that works when their are people that are experts in the matter? This also includes doing the program with determination and a daily routine.
